Considering moving to Destiny's online catalog

Buckley's Middle & Upper School library belongs to the Independent Library School Exchange-Group Access Project, or ISLE-GAP, a consortia of 15 independent school libraries that share print resources (about 250,000 items).  ISLE-GAP schools have all used the online catalog Infocenter for years to search each other's collections.  Currently, however, many schools are looking to move to using Destiny - another online catalog created by Follett, the maker of Infocenter.  Buckley is considering this as well, as Infocenter hasn't been updated since 2007 and is considered a "legacy system."  In fact, Windows 7 and Infocenter do not interface, functionally, that well and Buckley is in the process to upgrading to Windows 7.  As we look forward to Destiny, we will keep you posted about the new look and features that will be coming soon to our online catalog!
